Thank you for sharing these tips.
It’s so important to stay true to yourself. I’ve heard people say you can drown in the numbers so quickly. So my affirmation is that I don’t care that much about it. I enjoy reading others, and love it when others enjoy reading me too. It’s like having your own little company. The energy and time invested in it.
I do love that you pointed out never to let a good idea slip by. I always carry a little notebook with me everywhere so I can just dot down keywords for ideas to work them out later.
And also congrats on your 6 months. wooooo!

These are such great tips! I bought my domain a full 10 months before I ever posted anything and I wish I’d started sooner. As for my first ever post. Yeah…I’m not a fan. But it’s the 3rd most viewed ever so I have to keep it ๐Ÿ˜‚. I can’t believe it’s only been 6 months! x

Brilliant post, Lena, but I thought you’d been blogging for a lot longer than 6 months, haha. You’re so right about not putting pressure on ourselves, our blog will always be here for us and we’re in charge of our own deadlines. Hard to remember sometimes so thank you for the reminder, as well as all the other super helpful tips! x

Blogging has taught me so much about time management too and I guess that’s why I now find myself so organised in something like school and college! Happy 6 months x

Congratulations on your 6th month. I am currently on my 4th month and have had moments where I just ran out of blog post to write or lost my routine and motivation. Blogging is not just about creating blog post, you are correct in saying that there is more to blogging than just posting and taking photos. Also, managing social media on the side is somewhat a struggle for me but I have allocated 2 months in learning how to grow my audience and increase my traffic through social media. Keep inspiring everyone. Great post.

I sometimes find it so difficult to be so active on social media because there are so many platforms to be active on. I have to post on Instagram and respond to comments (which is hard because Instagram blocks you after responding to X amount), but also tweet, but don’t forget to pin, then back to Instagram. I love social media, but it’s sometimes to hard to keep up with.

    Great post! x

Ok, this was a wonderful read! I’m SO glad you added the fact that you don’t have to be in a niche. That’s a breath of fresh air. I believe this, and I’m glad to see someone else believes it as well.

Wonderful post! Thank you for sharing!

I was just on Bexa’s blog and thought it’s so cool how you two have been blogging for six months! Glad you’ve grown a lot over the months and learned some useful tips! I totally agree about time management! It seems difficult but if you are passionate about something, you will make the time (like how it’s almost 11pm and I’m here returning comments XD). I totally agree with planning ahead! Nothing worse than having to brainstorm really hard to push out a post on time. Hope you’ll continue to enjoy blogging :).

Congrats on the 6 months! I love the advice you gave especially about not forcing content and I love about not putting pressure on yourself, you canโ€™t always do the schuedule. Life happens but as long as your enjoying your blog thatโ€™s the main thing.

I completely agree with never letting an idea slip by, and Iโ€™m constantly quickly typing down ideas for posts in the notes section of my phone – I think Iโ€™m one of the only bloggers that starts their posts with a working title and goes from there, but thatโ€™s just what happens for me.. ๐Ÿ™Š Staying active on social media is also super important, but it can be one of the most difficult things to do at times! โœจ

I had an old blog but scrapped it and started anew 6 months ago also!

I do find a lot of pressure to post regularly, get collabs & have amazing images but you are right in doing the best you can do writing about the things you want to.

    A great uplifting post!

I loved this post! I like the part about working ahead and having posts drafted, because I live by that motto! I currently have 6 posts drafted and a 7th Iโ€™m working on. I can never sit down and intend to work on posts, every idea I have comes organically, so itโ€™s great advice to just work on a post once you get an idea for it.
Congrats on 6 months! My 1 month anniversary of blogging is in a couple days so I still have a little ways to go!

I totally agree with you on forcing content – almost everyone told me to blog to a niche! I mostly write about my travels but every once in a while I love to share smth about food, books, or anything else that inspires me! and why should I limit myself only to travel posts for my focus group? It might be not business-wise, but I like it -and this is all that matters! And by the way, I also prefer twitter to other social media, I used to like Instagram more, but with these adverts and new algorithm I started using it less!

    Have a wonderful weekend!
