Best Teen Movies of the 2000’s and 1990’s (PART 2)
Hey there lovely people!! 😀 How’s it going? I hope you’re all having a lovely day…I’m totally sending loads of positive energy and love your way! I feel like I’m on a roll this week and I’m back with another post!! *Whoop Whoop* Lol it’s just a continuation from my previous post on the best teen movies of the 2000’s and 1990’s take 2 🎬
Can you guys tell that I’m totes digging this 90’s stuff and vibe? Haha without further adue let’s get the party rolling!
13 Going on 30 (2004)
So imagine at 13 you THINK you’re so flustered and done with being a kid so you make a wish on your 13th birthday to become an adult! Boy did Jennifer Garner learn the hard way that being an adult was overrated…I honestly wished someone warned us more! Cute film and totes worth the watch 😀
The Princess Diaries (2001)
I’m in love with Anne Hathaway! I always have been, I always will be (btw has anyone seen how much more she’s glowing now or seen Oceans 8 with her?). She’s such a sweetheart and honestly is on my list of childhood stars that was always quite poise before the fans and never allowed the media break them. She rocked in this and is next to the legend that is Julie Andrews!
50 First Dates (2004)
Imagine suffering from amnesia that every day you have to be reminded of the person you’re dating and soon to be in love with and all the wonderful moments you’ve shared…Repetitive but so sweet and silly with Adam Sandler and you guessed it…Drew Barrymore 😀
What Happened in Vegas (2008)
It’s a bit further down my early 00’s line but I think it’s a fun recommendation! Two Words, ASHTON KUTCHER! Lol I think that’s enough said! Go watch now if you haven’t, you won’t regret it!
She’s the Man (2006)
Okay this movie was hella funny and might I add this was Amanda Bynes at her peak before she sadly had to go on the dl. Thankfully before then she went on to star in Sydney White which is another good one to add to this list. If you want to learn how to disguise yourself and almost get away with it….this is for you!
Sleepover, sleepover, sleepover!! This was such a fun and girly movie and honestly if I tried sneaking out at that age my ass would’ve been grass…lol but it’s fun to dream isn’t it lol.
I know What You Did Last Summer (1997)
Ok I was ALL for slasher movies and thrillers when I was younger and I Know What You Did Last Summer was a fave of mine! The suspense, squealling, the everything!
Ever After (1998)
I Really do love Drew Barrymore! I think this was the movie that led the way to A Cinderella Story with Hillary Duff other than Cinderella of course. Both wonderful actresses and both really cute and sappy romances.
Rose Mcgowan was always a total hottie and mean girl in this Thrilledy when 3 popular girls mistakenly kill the prom queen with a kidnapping prank lol. How you ask? With an OG jawbreaker of course!
Imagine having to deal with the death of your mother and being terrorized by a creep in an ugly Grim Reaper costume! Lol I’d probs kick his ass and say not today buddy…but then again he was dangerous enough to kill a few people 😮 PS this was the movie that led to the sequel Scary Movie.
Legally Blonde (2001)
Who’s Elle Woods you may ask? A total hottie and sweetheart who fell for a total prick and what better revenge than than getting into law school and unlocking your full potential even when said ex thought you couldn’t!
Cheaper By The Dozen (2003)
Cheaper by the Dozen was such an awesome fam jam of a movie! Having 12 kids was a hand full but totes worth the support system that they built!
What A Girl Wants (2003)
Another Amanda Bynes classic that’s worth the watch, it’s full of adventure, witty and light-hearted! Basically an American teen is on a quest to find her dad who she discovers is an English politician running for office. Also this gif is one of my fave quotes!
The Craft (1996)
I mentioned this one before in my Halloween Movie Watchlist (PS oldie but a goldie for any time of the year honestly, also it’s soon that time again) Watch as these girls unlock some truly powerful magic and realize that even with magic on their side, evil never wins for long!….OMG :0 the weirdest thing just happened when I tried to add this gif, how much do you believe in the supernatural? Comment below and share your thoughts 😉
She’s All That (1999)
What’s with people and betting they can transform others anyway??? Cool movie though, so it deserves to be on this list! If you haven’t seen this yet give it a try and watch this jock try to give this “unattractive” girl a makeover *roll eyes*
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005)
Four (4) friends, one jeans that magically fits them all! Ikr, wouldn’t that be a killa jeans to have…watch as these girls adventure out and show the true beauty of friendship.
